Read More	HO Edith Cook Parker Death Takes Tol Parker; Rites Held Tolleson Carouthers (Tol) Porker, 65, president of the Growers Bank and Trust Company, of lnman, was found dead in bed at his home in lnman Tuesday morningr about 7 o'clock. A physician said he had died as the result of a heart attack. Mr, Parker was born and reared in Gaffney. He was a son of the late Meek C. and Mary Ella Tolleson Parker. Before going to lnman 20 years ago, he had been connected with the old American State Bank here and at Blacksburg. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Gaffney. Funeral services were conducted at the Shuford-Hatcher chapel here Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Dr. R. A. MacFarland, former pastor of the First Baptist Church. Dr. R. C. Pettus and the Rev. Marion Hatchett, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, officiated. Interment was in Oakland cemetery with the Shuford-Hatcher Company, morticians, in charge. The pall bearers were Henry Smith, Claude and Horace Bishop, Ed Brown, Dr. E. H. Dobson, Sr., S. C. Littlejohn and Conway Thompson. Directors of the Growers Bank and Trust Company formed an honorary escort. Mr. Parker's wife, the former Miss Edith Cook, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. Smith Cook, of Gaffney, died about two years ago. Mr. Tarker is survived by a daughter, Miss Betty Parker, of Inman, and a sister, Mrs. Eva P. Knox, of Gaffney.
