Description	:	Tom Motts, 47, of Pacolet, SC died Friday, February 23, 1968, at Spartanburg General Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Pacolet, he was the husband of Stella Foster Motts and a son of the late John "J.C." and Levie Souther Motts. He was a Security Guard for the Spartanburg County Prison System and of the Baptist faith. Survivors also include two daughters, Louvenia Motts (Tim) and Agnes Lowe (Jack) both of Pacolet, two sons, John Thomas "Sheb" Motts (Viola), of Cherokee County and Frank Edward "Ed" Motts (Mildred), of Cowpens. The body is at the home, and will be placed in the Pacolet First Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 1968. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m, Sunday, February 25, 1968, at Pacolet First Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Glazner and the Rev. F.B. Gravitt, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
