Description	:	Tommy Lee Harbour, age 87, of Milton, WV, died March 2, 2013 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. The son of Emsley and Lucy Harbour, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II, earning four bronze stars during D-Day at Utah and Omaha Beaches, in Operation Dragoon in Southern France, and in the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. As a businessman, and later as mayor for nearly twenty years, he led efforts to beautify and improve Milton, including at Harbour Glass Supply, Harbour Mobile Home Park, and the local Veterans of Foreign Wars post.... A lifelong hunter, fisherman, and farmer, Harbour instilled in his family a love of the outdoors, an appetite for good food and company, and a fondness for skillful storytelling. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Betty; his daughter, Brenda K. Bassett and son-in-law, Ralph W. Bassett, Jr; grandchildren, Molly Bassett, her husband Mike Burr, and Luke Bassett; brother, Paul Harbour. His son, Damon L. Harbour, preceded him in death. Funeral service at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Dr. T.J. DuBose officiating. Burial in Forest Memorial Park, Milton with Military Graveside Honors conducted by the United States Coast Guard and American Legion Post 139, Milton.
