Description	:	Trena M. Callison, 86, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2001 at her home in Wenatchee. She was born on July 31, 1914 in Wenatchee to Elmer B. and Jennie (Gormly) Gensinger, a pioneer family of East Wenatchee. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1932 and on November 30, 1933 she married Wayne L. Callison, making their home in East Wenatchee. Callison, 86, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2001 at her home in Wenatchee. She was born on July 31, 1914 in Wenatchee to Elmer B. and Jennie (Gormly) Gensinger, a pioneer family of East Wenatchee. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1932 and on November 30, 1933 she married Wayne L. Callison, making their home in East Wenatchee. In 1943, they moved to the Tonasket-Oroville area where they owned and operated an orchard. In 1949, they bought an orchard on Lake Osoyoos, continuing to farm until the early 1960s when they bought the Western Auto Store in Oroville. They continued this business until retiring in 1973. After retiring, she and Wayne enjoyed traveling and enjoyed Arizona during the winter months. She continued living in Oroville until Wayne's death in 1985 when she decided to move back to Wenatchee. She has been a lifetime active member of the Church of the Brethren at both the Wenatchee and Ellisford Churches. She enjoyed gardening, keeping a well-attended yard, golf, fishing, and was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed playing Bridge and pinochle during her later years here in Wenatchee. Survivors include her son, Keith and wife, Joyce Callison of Oroville, daughter, Barbara and husband, Robert Smolinsky of Port Orchard, son, Allan and wife, Ginger of New Syma Beach, FL and daughter, Diane and husband, Darrell Hester of Lynnwood. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy and husband, Leonard Daley of Benton City; and brother-in-law, Milton and wife, Lucelia Callison of Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Gensinger of East Wenatchee. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2001 at Evergreen Memorial Park with Pastor Sam Detwiler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Washington Hospital Hospice or to the Brethren Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
