Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Tryntje Langstraat, 91, a resident of Sioux county since 1901, were held at the First Christian Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 31. The Rev. B. J. Haan officiated. Burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery. Co-op Burial Service was in charge of arrangements. A brief service was held at the Little Chapel preceding the service at the church. Mrs. Langstraat passed away July 28 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Cuperus in Hull, following a lingering illness. She was born in the Netherlands September 7, 1867, the daughter of Adrianus Struyk and Adrianna Jongejan. On May 17, 1890, she was married in The Netherlands to Klaas Langstraat. They moved to the United States in 1901 and settled in Sioux county. To this union six children were bom. Mr. Langstraat died July 27, 1936, and one son preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Henry and Edward of Rock Valley and Cy of Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Jane (Mrs. Gerrit Draayer) of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Nellie Cuperus of Hull; 26 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Van Otterloo of Orange City and Mrs. Wm. Buesink in Holland.
