Davis, age 93, of Morton, WA, was called home by the Lord on Monday, January 19, 2009. Born on Green Mountain, Lewis County, WA to James and Pearl Kiser on April 27, 1915, Tulsa is the last of her immediate family to leave this earth. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Jim, Fred and Frank Kiser; her sister Helen Nicholson; as well as her beloved husbands, F. Ross Dill and Elmer H. Davis. In 1936 Tulsa moved to Morton and supported herself until she married F. Ross Dill in 1943. Ross and Tulsa led an active social life and were fortunate to travel to Mexico, Panama, Hawaii and South America. The death of Ross in 1958 left Tulsa a widow for 13 years. In 1974 Elmer Davis and Tulsa married and they made their home in Tacoma, WA until they returned to Morton in 1991. Tulsa loved to play golf, bridge, read, garden and entertain friends and family. Tulsa and Elmer traveled to Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and China; enjoying their golden years until Elmer passed away in December of 2000. Tulsa is survived by her sister-in-law Ingeborg Kiser; her step-children Elmer (Damin) Davis, Rudy (Janine) Davis, Jon (Judy) Davis, Jared Davis and their families. She is also survived by her niece Susan (John) Sears and daughters, Lori Sears, Loni Sears and Trisha Sears; niece Peggy (Amos) Deaven; niece Patricia Nicholson and daughter Teri Stout; niece Kay (Pat) Harper and children Melissa, Jolene, and Fred; her nephew, James Kiser and his sons Johnathan and Brian; nephew Tim (Margaret Ann) Kiser and family; nephews Steve and Bart Kiser and their families; and nephew Richard Nicholson. Tulsa was loved by her family and friends and her gracious smile and spirit will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Assured Hospice for their kind help and support, as well as Tulsa's devoted caregivers. Services will be held at 11:00 am. at the United Methodist Church, Morton, WA on Saturday, January 24, 2009 with viewing from 10 AM. to 11 AM. Reception to follow at the church with burial at Swofford Valley Cemetery following the reception. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Rd., Portland, OR 97239 and Assured Hospice, 1821 Cooks Hill Rd, Centralia, WA 98351."
