Description	:	Tunis was the son of James Bodine (17 December, 1758 - 13 May, 1838) and Elizabeth Egbert (1761 – ?). He was baptized: Nov 6, 1791 in Moravian Church of United Brethren, New Dorp, Richmond Co., NY Tunis Bodine and his brother James removed from New York, in 1816, to what is now Ocean County, New Jersey, located at Manahawkin, and entered into the mercantile business.
