The funeral service will be Saturday, August 3, 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh, Nebraska, with Rev. Brad Birtell officiating. Interment will be in the Creston Fairview Cemetery in Creston, Nebraska. Larson was born June 11, 1933, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Arthur and Alma (Leffers) Osten. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church. Twila attended St. John's Lutheran School and graduated from Creston High School in 1951. On February 24, 1952, Twila was united in marriage to Harold Larson at St. John's. They farmed and were dairy farmers north of Creston for over 35 years before they moved to Columbus in 1993. Twila also worked for a few years at Madison Foods. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Fellowship Club. They enjoyed going to Husker football and basketball games and going camping. They also loved to spend time with their family and going to their grandchildren's activities. Twila is survived by: Husband: Harold Larson of Columbus, NE Son: Rick (Lorie) Larson of Creston, NE Son: Randal Larson of Columbus, NE Daughter: Sherri (Mike) Brown of Seattle, WA Daughter: Tammy (Randy) Wendt of Leigh, NE 12 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Brother: Larry (Margaret) Osten of Creston,NE Twila was preceded in death by: Parents: Arthur & Alma Osten Infant Brother: Vernon Osten
