Mr. Zaklasnik was walking on the track when the train came up and in some way he was buried under the train and his body was badly mangled. Whether he threw himself o the track intentionally or whether it was purely accidental no one appeas to know, as there was no one present to witness the incident. Rumor over the county has it that he had been drawn into the military service and that he had intentionally thrown himself in front of the train, preferring to be killed in that way, rather than go to war.There is no truth, however to this report, as he was a man of about 40 years of age, and how the accident occurred is only conjectural. DWIGHT, July 24 – James Zaklasnik, aged 41 years, son of Mrs. Frank Tomandl, of Dwight, was instantly killed Friday evening, July 20, by being struck by the south bound passenger train on the Northwestern railroad. He had been in a despondent state of mind for some time. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock.
