''''''''''''''''' The Columbus Telegram, August 15, 1919, p. 11, col. 2 Cancer of the mouth caused the death of William Podraza at St. Mary’s hospital last Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock. His condition had been serious about ten days. Mr. Podraza was 86 years old, a native of Austria. He came to this country about 30 years ago, and made his home near Tarnov until about eleven years ago when he and Mrs. Podraza moved down here to make their home with their son, John, two and a half miles west of Columbus. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony’s church Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock, with burial in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Podraza leaves his wife; two sons, Anton and John, residing west of Columbus; a daughter, Miss Mary, in Omaha, and two sons, Charles and Will, in the old country.
