Description	:	The Columbus Daily Telegram, November 19, 1936 Miss Valeria Kubas, 38, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kubas, of Silver Creek, died at 3:30 a.m. today at the state hospital in Hastings, where she had been a patient for the last 12 years. Her death followed a short illness of pneumonia. She was born on Mar. 10, 1898, at Osceola, Neb., and when she was two years of age her family moved to Silver Creek. Besides her parents, she is survived by five brothers, Charles, Joe and Steven Kubas, of Silver Creek, Walter and Thomas, of Los Angeles, and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Perry, of Gering, Neb., and Mrs. Tom Bogus, of Grand Island. Sam Hoge, of the McKown Funeral home, drove to Hastings today and brought the body here. Funeral services will be held at 9 am. Saturday at St. Lawrence church in Silver Creek, unless her brothers in California come for the funeral, and in that case it will not be held until Monday. Word had not been received from them at press time. Rev. John Kunkel, of Clarks, will officiate at the services.
