Beverly (6961909); lived WA ----------------------------------------------- SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. FRANK PRUSS Friends of Mrs. Frank Pruss were shocked to learn of her death Sunday evening. A son was born to Mrs. Pruss at four o'clock and she passed away two hours later from cardiac failure due to a very bad goitre [sic]. The birth of the child was normal and the baby boy, who weighed 12 pounds, is well, but Mrs. Pruss' heart failed to function, and she died a six o'clock. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Josaphat's church with Father Al in charge of the services. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Pruss was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mazankowski and was born in Poland in 1891. She came to the United States when a year old, coming direct to Sherman county with her parents. At the time of her death she was 43 years and 11 days old. In 1910 she was married to Mr. Frank Pruss of Sherman county, and they made their home on a farm north of Loup City, where they lived for several years, later moving to Loup City. They would have celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary next May. The Sherman County Times - Dec 21 1934
