Born in Stanly County on Nov. 22, 1915, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Edgar Taylor; her mother, Rosa Barbee Morgan; and father David Jerome Morgan. She was a graduate of Oakboro High School. She retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis with 25 years of service and then in her retirement, she worked for Wendy's for 20 years until the age of 93. Read More	Vassie Louise Morgan Taylor, 94, of 20552 Hatley Rd, Oakboro, formerly of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Born in Stanly County on Nov. 22, 1915, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Edgar Taylor; her mother, Rosa Barbee Morgan; and father David Jerome Morgan. She was a graduate of Oakboro High School. She retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis with 25 years of service and then in her retirement, she worked for Wendy's for 20 years until the age of 93. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church, with a 30 minute state. Elder Ted Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Randy Taylor and wife, Pam, of Duluth Ga.; her grandchildren, Justin Taylor and wife, Jaime, of Buford Ga, and John Taylor of Buford, Ga. and three great-grandchildren.
