Description	:	Vaye Jean Gramm, daughter of William and Madeline (Beck) Gramm, was born August 5, 1933 in Chamberlain, SD. She grew up in Chamberlain. She moved with her family to Aberdeen, SD at the age of 17. Vaye graduated from Aberdeen High School. Vaye then moved to Sioux Falls, SD and worked in the restaurant business for several years. Vaye married William Sylvanus in 1954 in Sioux Falls. They divorced in 1956. She was united in marriage with Leslie A. Strom in 1957 in Sioux Falls. She moved with her family to Aberdeen, SD at the age of 17. Vaye graduated from Aberdeen High School. Vaye then moved to Sioux Falls, SD and worked in the restaurant business for several years. Vaye married William Sylvanus in 1954 in Sioux Falls. They divorced in 1956. She was united in marriage with Leslie A. Strom in 1957 in Sioux Falls. Vaye and Leslie moved to Topeka, KS where the couple worked in the restaurant business for three years. They then moved to Marshall, MN where Vaye was employed by Swift Manufacturing for twenty years. In 1985, they moved back to Sioux Falls. Leslie died later that year. Vaye then worked as a cafeteria assistant at Cleveland Elementary School until ill health force her to retire in 2000. Vaye enjoyed crossword puzzles and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son, Randy and sister, Jan. Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Randy Lee Sylvanus, Mankato, MN; her sister, Jan Reynolds-Paul and her husband, Marvin, Sioux Falls, SD; two nieces, Dena Baustian and her husband, Paul, Harrisburg, SD, Jaina Heiden and her husband, Brad, Sioux Falls, SD; three great-nieces, Brandi, Brittany and Olivia Baustian, Harrisburg, SD; four nephews, Jeoffrey and Ian Baustian, Harrisburg, SD, Adrian and Jordan Heiden, Sioux Falls, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VAYE JEAN STROM 109 N.
