She was born March 2, 1916 in Clarinda County, IA to Earnest and Blanche (Cunning) Stickleman. She was raised in Clarinda County, IA before moving to Gothenburg, NE when she was a sophomore in high school. She graduated from high school in Gothenburg in 1934. She married William "Bill " Lambertus on November 2, 1941 in Gothenburg. He died in 1992. She lived in Gothenburg until July of 2012 when she moved to Fremont to be closer to her daughters. She was born March 2, 1916 in Clarinda County, IA to Earnest and Blanche (Cunning) Stickleman. She was raised in Clarinda County, IA before moving to Gothenburg, NE when she was a sophomore in high school. She graduated from high school in Gothenburg in 1934. She married William "Bill " Lambertus on November 2, 1941 in Gothenburg. He died in 1992. She lived in Gothenburg until July of 2012 when she moved to Fremont to be closer to her daughters. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gothenburg and was a big supporter of the Gothenburg Senior Center. She is survived by daughters, Marsha & husband, Bruce Widick of Malcolm, Kathleen & husband, Bill Allender of Fremont; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Gothenburg Memorial Cemetery in Gothenburg at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Gothenburg Senior Center.
