Mrs. Cook was born July 1, 1932, in Horry County, a daughter of the late Edgar Norman Cannon and the late Thelma Owens Cannon. She was a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church, an honorary lifetime member, a former moderator of the Presbyterian Church Women, and a former coordinator of the "Happy Days" after school program. She was a past president of the Georgetown Business and Professional Women. She was survived by her husband of Georgetown; three children, Thomas G. (Pat)... She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Preston. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014, in Georgetown Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Stephen H. Wilkins officiated. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
