Schoenbohm, Lutheran Pastor emeritus, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Roy Sparks, Larry Bahnsen, Loren Manning Jr., Bruce Badtke, and Bill and Clarence Carter. She married Arnold Badtke, March 28, 1940 in Clinton. She was a 1934 graduate of Goose Lake High School. She had been employed for Swift and Company for several years, retiring in 19778. She also helped her husband on their farm in rural Clinton County. She and her husband enjoyed playing cards at the Low Moor Senior Citizens Center. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and music, especially playing the piano. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lawrence of Clinton, and Melvin of Mt. Carroll; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Frisbie of Lake Mills, Iowa, Mrs. John (LeClaire)Glunz of Green Island, and Elsie Bahnsen and MRs. Charles (Violet) Bopes, both of Clinton; and two brothers, Albert Carter of Lost Nation, and Warren Carter of Davenport. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
