Mary was very nice and told me the following: Pete and Vera lived in a mobile home in San Jose Pete was tall and a machinist Vera had blond hair They owned a takeout food place in East Palo Alto. They served hamburgers, barbeque, milkshakes. Vera ran the place and was a good cook. Pete called Mary one Wednesday and her brother George drove her down to see Vera, as Vera was very ill. Vera passed away the following Sunday while Mary was there. She had a liver ailment. Pete's mother had made a burial dress for her to wear. Mary told me she had the following siblings: 4 girls and 3 boys Mary, Nadya (Nettie), Nancy and Vera Nick, Al and George I had earlier talked to Nick's son's wife Lois.
