Read More	OBITUARY THE CHARITON HERALD-PATRIOT Chariton, Iowa Thursday, January 10, 2002 VERA EUBANK Vera Eubank, daughter of Harry and Nellie Pennington Fogle, was born April 25, 1917, in Norwood, Iowa and passed away December 31, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola, Iowa, at the age of 84. In the fall of 1939, she was united in marriage to Charles Raymond Eubank. To this union two daughters were born, Sharon and Judy. She attended Simpson College and earned a teaching degree from Drake University. Much of her lifetime was spent teaching in Lucas and Warren Counties before and after marriage. She retired from teaching in 1982. Sewing and crafts projects were a favorite pastime in her later years. She also had a bell collection which she proudly displayed in a special cabinet. Taking tours around the United States, Canada and abroad were a part of her retirement years. After moving to Indianola in 1976, she attended the First Baptist Church when her health permitted. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center in June of 1997, due to health problems. There she made many new friends. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, Douglas Crone. She is survived by her daugters, Sharon and husband Jim Richardson of Laurens, Iowa and Judy Crone and friend, Jack Prociw of Joseph, Ore., three grandchildren, Michael Richardson and wife, Linda of Winconsin Rapids, Wis., Jeff Richardson of Laurens, Iowa and Missy Richardson and fiance, Kevin Stoa of Polk City, one sister, Anetus Jones and her husband, Max of Chariton; one brother, Ronald Fogle and wife, Lois of Chariton; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Fogle of Lucas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services were held at Fielding Funeral Home, Jan. 4, 2002, with Rev. Homer Ford officiating. Burial was in the Norwood Cemetery, Norwood, Iowa.
