She was married on Thanksgiving day in the year 1871 to Jacob Bram of Engi, Kanton-Glarus, Switzerland To this union were born nine children, five boys and four girls. One boy passing at the great beyond in infancy, another Matthew, died at the age of 16 years. She joined the Evangelical Church in 1890,and remained faithful until the end. She leaves to mourn her departure, Husband, seven children and fifteen grandchildren. .Mrs. Emma Bram ,Irvington, la.; Mrs. Bertha Baumgarter, Humbird, Wis.; Miss Fannie S.. Bram, and Henry Bram of Renwick, Ia., Jacob Bram, Beardsley, Minn; Peter Bram, Storm Lake., Mrs. Anna Juttie, LuVerne, la. and two sisters, Mrs. James Gee, Lansing, la., and Mrs Bertha Engelhorn, Arlie, Ore. and two brothers, Mr. J .P. Stauffucher, Omaha, Neb., and Mr. Rudolph Stauffacher, St. Paul, Minn., besides many friends. May God grant them a happy reunion in the Heavenly Mansions. Mrs. Bram had been ill for more than two years, but very patiently endured her suffering until the end. She frequently spoke of the home prepared for her by Him, in whom she trusted. Death had no fears for her, but was looked forward to, as a welcome guest. She could say with Paul in the second Tim 1:12, "For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day." She spoke of encouragement to those who had come to comfort her. She has gone, but will continue to live in the memory of those who knew her. Many friends and relatives were present to accompany her to her earthly bed of clay, where she awaits the coming of the Lord whom she has learned to trust. The ladies of the Evangelical Association had decorated the church in a very appropriate manner. Rev. J. M. Kraft of LuVerne, a former pastor, Rev. J. G. Moyer of the Renwick, M. E. Church and the undersigned officiated. May He, who has power over life and death, assuage the grief of the bereaved and especially bless those who so faithfully watched over her long illness and intense suffering._ A.W.
