Description	:	Verna Mae Tosner, age 84, of Beach, North Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Wibaux County Nursing Home in Wibaux, Montana. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the United Community Church with Reverend Warren Maxted officiating. Interment will follow at the Beach City Cemetery. Read More	Verna Mae Tosner, age 84, of Beach, North Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Wibaux County Nursing Home in Wibaux, Montana. Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements. Verna was born in Beach on October 26, 1930 to Vern and Ina (Blue) Osterloth. She was raised north of Wibaux and attended Cottonwood School north of Wibaux. Following her education she worked at a café in Beach where she met Albert Tosner. Verna was united in marriage to Albert on October 20, 1953 in Glendive, Montana. After they were married, they moved north of Beach to the Stecker place where Albert worked. Verna and Albert lived there until 1982, when they built a home in town. Verna lived there until entering the Golden Valley Manor in September of 2013 where she lived until shortly before the time of her death. Verna went to work at Skelly in Beach in 1971 and remained until it closed. Afterwards Flying J took over and she managed the restaurant for many years retiring from there in 1995. Following this she worked for the Buckboard Motel until 2012. Verna and Albert thoroughly loved dancing. Verna also loved sewing and making quilts. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and a bingo aficionado (she loved bingo!). Verna also enjoyed cooking and baking. Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Vern and Ina; two sons, Larry and Ivan; two brothers, William and James; and four sisters, Dorothy Mary, Nancy, Roberta and Eunice
