Born in Stellarton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas andd Rhoda (MacDonald) MacPherson. She was a lifetime charter member of the Ladies Fireside Club, Chester. She greatly loved cats all her life and will be missed by her beloved Freddy and Miss McGoo. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric Bond Sr.; son, Roger and daughter, Gloria-Dawn Chisholm; sister, Doris Peck. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Stephen's Anglican church, Chester with Father Jim McCorriston officiating. Burial in Bayview Cemetery, Chester. Flowers from the immediate family only please. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shoreham Village-Blood Collection Clinic or S.H.A.I.D. Tree Animal Shelter.
