Description	:	Verna Minnie Bertha Stork, 99 years, of Lincoln, NE (formerly of Arlington, NE) entered her eternal home Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Holmes Lake Manor in Lincoln. She was born October 25, 1911 on a farm near Beemer, NE to William and Johanna (Moseman) Blome. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Verna was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington. Verna married Herbert C. Stork June 24, 1936 at Beemer, NE. He died September 12, 2004. Verna was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington. Verna married Herbert C. Stork June 24, 1936 at Beemer, NE. He died September 12, 2004. The couple farmed near Arlington until retiring in 1974 and moving into Arlington. They moved to Lincoln in 1997. Survivors include: daughters – Arlene and husband Clarence Flagel and Lois and husband Darrell Ullman, all of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren – Rachelle and husband Brian DeGarmo, Randall and wife Jill Flagel, all of Lincoln, and Brian and wife Angela Ullman of Omaha; and great grandchildren – Samantha and Avery Ullman of Omaha and Benjamin DeGarmo of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Herbert; 1 brother – Richard; and 1 sister – Irene. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 22, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington, NE. The Rev. Rick Kanoy will officiate. There will be visitation with family receiving friends one hour prior the service at church Friday. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Arlington, NE. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington, Christ Lutheran Church at Lincoln or The Lutheran Hour Ministries.
