For the first time death has entered the home of Henry wilson and took his dear loving wife. Ollie Miller Wilson was born November 27, 1892, departed this life February 4, 1915, being 22 years 2 months and 8 days old. Was married to Henry Wilson March 18, 1911. Joined the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in 1908 and has lived a concistant member ever since. Her mother died when she was only 13 years old and she had the care of her little brothers until she married. She went to Colorado last March hoping, but that dread disease consumption had taken such a hole there was no chance for poor Ollie. Everything that loving hands ciould do was done for her but alas, all in vain. It was hard to give her up but the Lord knows best and everything worketh good in them that love the Lord, for he has said "I will never leave thhee nor foresake thee." So cheer up dear ones for Ollie has only gone home to be with her blessed Savior. And if we live as we shoud it will be a short time until we meet her where parting is no more. Only a few minutes before she died she willed us to her bed and told us all good bye. She leaves a little girl 3 years old, husband, father, 2 brothers and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her departure. Her funeral was preached at Pisgah church by her pastor, Rev. Humphrey, Text, JOhn 17:24 Dearest Ollie thou hast left us And thy love we deeply feel It is god that has bereft us. He can all our sorrows heal. A precious one from us is gone, A voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home. Which never can be filled.
