Mueller, 63 years of age, of rural Tecumseh, passed away at the Falls City hospital in Falls City on Thursday, June 29, 1995. He was born on Jan. 3, 1932 at rural Table Rock, NE. Vernie D. Mueller, 63 years of age, of rural Tecumseh, passed away at the Falls City hospital in Falls City on Thursday, June 29, 1995. He was born on Jan. 3, 1932 at rural Table Rock, NE. He married Rosalene Berg on Nov. 12, 1955 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Sterling. Ne. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. After returning to Tecumseh, he worked for the Tecumseh Rendering Co. and then for Brinkman Brothers Johns Deere Implement Co. as a mechanic. He then worked for Wiebusch Implemant CO. of Tecumseh until retiring in 1988 due to ill health. He also farmed near Tecumseh. He was currently a member of St. John Lutheran church of Sterling and a former member of the Stone church southest of Johnson, NE. He was a member of the Kenneth A. Curtis Post #2 of the American Legion of Tecumseh. His hobbies included buying, selling and refurbishing antiques. Survivors include his wife, Rosalene of Tecumseh; 2 daughter, DeAnn Mueller of Council Bluffs, IA. and Denise Kenney and her husband, Pat of Bedford, TX. two brothers, Roy Mueller and wife, Dorothy of Lincoln and Rudy Mueller and his wife, Edith of Humboldt. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margretha Behrends Mueller; three brothers, Arnold, Glenn and Otto and three sisters, Clara Barnes, Ella Myers and Mary Ellen Mueller. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 3, at St. John Lutheran Church of Sterling with Pastor Roger Hoffman offiating. Military grave-side honors were conducted by the Kenneth A. Curtis Post #2 of the Americn Legion of Tecumseh, Ne. Interment was in the Sterling Cemetery.
