Born in Otter Creek, Fl., she was the wife of Melford Floyd Martin and the daughter of the late Calhoun H Jordan born 22 Jan 22 1885 and died on 25 March 1976 in Duvall County, Florida and Annie Omage Griffis Jordan born 10 January 1892 and died 4 September 1954 . She retired as an employee from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was a homemaker and was a member of the Spinners Square Dance Club. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission at the age of 18 in South Carolina. She was the heart and soul of the family. Nothing was more important as her family and her love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to her husband, also surviving are two sons, Sherrill F. Martin and wife, Carolyn of Columbia and Daniel J. Martin and wife, Dawn of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Diane Martin Duncan and husband, Bobby of Gaffney; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
