Ludtke and had three daughters: Vonda, Janet and Carla. They divorced in 1971. Later, he married Elizabeth Allestad with whom he has a son, Sam. Featured in the 1968 Power Parade magazine, Bud was a trucker in the Simms and Frenchtown areas prior to moving to Thompson Falls in 1999. He always felt that the 22 trips of hauling beer to Alaska before there were good roads was one of his greatest accomplishments. Vernon C.* "Bud" Tintinger passed away November 10, 2011, at the Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains, Montana. He was 83. Survived By: His son, Sam (Ashley); his grandchildren: Bailey, Mason, Cayden and Taylor; sister, Lorraine; brother, Tom; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded In Death By: His parents; a brother, Douglas E. "Doug" Tintinger; and sister, Gracia Lillian Tintinger "Gracie" Dome.
