Description	:	Vernon J. Low, 94, of Uehling died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Hooper Care Center. He was born May 2, 1916, on a farm near Scribner to Henry and Elsie (Peters) Low. He had lived all his life in the Scribner/Uehling area. He farmed for several years, then became a herdsman for the Hillside Dairy at Uehling for many years, and later he continued working for Willard Heyne. He married Edna Witte on Dec. 25, 1940. He also was preceded in death by three sisters. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church (county line) with Vicar Jeffrey Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church.
