Description	:	Vernon Severn Robinson Jr. of Worton, MD died Friday, April 10, 2015 at Compass Regional Hospice Center in Centreville, MD. He was 82. Mr. Robinson was born January 26, 1933 in Church Hill, MD the son of the late Vernon Robinson Sr. and Helen Mae “Jester” Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a 1951 graduate of Sudlersville High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. After an honorable discharge Mr. Robinson continued his education at Tristate College for two more years. Read More	Vernon Severn Robinson Jr. of Worton, MD died Friday, April 10, 2015 at Compass Regional Hospice Center in Centreville, MD. He was 82. Mr. Robinson was born January 26, 1933 in Church Hill, MD the son of the late Vernon Robinson Sr. and Helen Mae “Jester” Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a 1951 graduate of Sudlersville High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. After an honorable discharge Mr. Robinson continued his education at Tristate College for two more years. He and his wife Ann married in 1957 and the two moved to the Virgin Islands where Mr. Robinson worked for a land surveying company. After several years he started his own land surveying business and continued to work in the Virgin Islands. He and his wife moved back to Kent County, MD in 1987 after he retired. His interests included sailing, golf and playing tennis, until the last few years. He is survived by his wife, Ann C. Robinson of Worton, MD, one son, John S. Robinson of Lawrencville, GA, one daughter, Helen Ann Heinzer of Andover, NJ, and one grandchild, Tyler Robinson of Lawrenceville, GA. Graveside services were held privately at Shrewsbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Frank M. Jarman American Legion, Post 36 P.O. Box 322 Chestertown, MD 21620.
