He was... Read More	Mallory, Veston H. (Ves) Age 78 Passed away on March 30, 2012, at his home in Loudon, Tennessee. He graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1950. A member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, he graduated from Omaha University in 1956 with a BS degree, served two years in the Army, worked for 35 years and retired as one of the owners of Paxton-Mitchell Company, Omaha, NE. While working full time, he served as general contractor when building his home in Elkhorn, NE, not only designing it but also completing all the woodwork in the home, including doors and cabinets. He was a talented woodworker, crafting many beautiful pieces of furniture over the years. He enjoyed an active retirement, fishing, golfing, investing on-line and playing his favorite card game: poker. He loved animals, especially Toots, who was his buddy for the last 15 years of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Faye Mallory, brother, William Mallory, and sisters, Wilma Garvey and Wanda Eisenhut. He leaves behind his wife, Fran, Toots, and six children and spouses, Michael Mallory (Anne), Patricia Mallory-Miah (Shajal), Steve Konnath (Jane), Scott Konnath, (Anne), Judy Giglio (Brian),and Joan Allison (Tom Evans), 19 grand children, first wife and good friend, Judith Mallory, and several long-time close friends in Omaha. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held in Omaha at a future date, followed by internment in Edgar, Nebraska, the place of his birth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., 2270 Sutherland Ave, Suite 202, Knoxville, TN 37919, or Faith Lutheran Church, 239 Jamestowne Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37934.
