Fandrich was born on August 9, 1941, in Carrington, ND, the son of Herbert and Ella (Gilbertson) Fandrich. At that time, they lived in Grace City, ND. In 1944, they moved to the Hawksnest area, Foster County, ND, where he attended school. Vic graduated from Carrington High School and graduated from Valley City State Teachers College. Fandrich was born on August 9, 1941, in Carrington, ND, the son of Herbert and Ella (Gilbertson) Fandrich. At that time, they lived in Grace City, ND. In 1944, they moved to the Hawksnest area, Foster County, ND, where he attended school. Vic graduated from Carrington High School and graduated from Valley City State Teachers College. He taught school in Firecrest, WA, for three years. After doing various jobs, he moved back to Carrington in 1976, where he worked for B&N Construction Company and then Ladish Malting Company in Spiritwood, ND. Vic retired after 23 years of working there. Since then, he has been living in Jamestown, ND until August 2009, when he moved into the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND. While in Jamestown, Vic did volunteer work for the Anne Carlson School, Humane Society, and AARP Tax Aid. Vic is survived by four brothers, Don (Mattie) Fandrich, Richmond Hill, VA, Herb (Jessie) Fandrich, Lead SD, Gary (Marcie) Neuman, Buckley, WA, and Larry (Marsha) Fandrich, Richmond, VA; five sisters, Charlotte Homuth, Douglas, WY, Lavella (Marvin) Lee, Dolan Springs, AZ, Alyce Bennet, Spokane, WA, Carole Pepple, Carrington, ND, and Sheila Fandrich, Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Duane, Kenneth, Lyle, Thomas, and Joseph.
