Description	:	OBIT: Mrs. Vica Leone Wilson wife of Eugene Wilson and a Kittitas County native daughter, died Monday in a local hospital following an illness of nearly a year. Widely known and prominent in many community activities, Mrs. Wilson was born in the Teanaway in 1898. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Crowley county pioneers. Read More	OBIT: Mrs. Vica Leone Wilson wife of Eugene Wilson and a Kittitas County native daughter, died Monday in a local hospital following an illness of nearly a year. Widely known and prominent in many community activities, Mrs. Wilson was born in the Teanaway in 1898. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Crowley county pioneers. Her father was an early-day Kittitas County sheriff. Mrs. Wilson lived here all her life. She graduated from Ellensburg High School and attended the Ellensburg Normal School, now the Central Washington College. She had been very active in Republican politics for many years, serving as both state committee-woman and associate county chairman. She had also organized the Republican Women's Club of the county and had had charge of campaign headquarters on election year for many years. She was a member of the Grace Church Guild and had been active in community and social work for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, William Eugene of Ellensburg, Thomas P. of Buckley, and Donald L. Wilson of Ellensburg; two daughters, Clare Lee Wilson and Sellia Karon Wilson of Ellensburg; a brother, Archie Crowley of Port Angeles and a sister, Mrs. Ted Lee of Okanogan. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Honeycutt-Evenson chapel with Rev. Jack McCarty officiating. The Ellensburg Capital, June 25, 1948
