Read More	Vicki Shively May 15, 1956 - May 13, 2020 Obituary for Vicki Shively Vicki Mae Shively, 63, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on May 13, 2020 at the Hospice House in Ottumwa. She was born May 15, 1956 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Harold and Iva Mae Huffman Howk. On September 24, 1977 she married Mark Shively of Bloomfield, Iowa. Vicki worked at McGraws and The Shoe Factory in Kirksville, Missouri for a few years as she resided in Kirksville. After that, she returned to Bloomfield where she worked for two years for the Davis County Law Enforcement Center as a dispatcher and then she worked at the Davis County Hospital for 17 years as a housekeeper; mainly maintaining and cleaning the Gilfillan Clinic. Aside from work, she enjoyed sewing and woodworking. She especially loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Vicki was well known for making the best hot rolls and no-bake cookies. She was a member of the Open Bible Church in Bloomfield. Despite life’s challenges, her deep love and faith in Jesus Christ are what made her persevere through life and accept challenges that came her way every day. Even on the toughest days, she always had a smile on her face. She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Justin (Brandy) Shively of Bloomfield, Misti Picton of St. Augustine, Florida; ten grandchildren, Colton Picton, Wyatt (Renatta Blackorby) Picton, Tori (Eli) Cox, Tallis Picton, Maison Picton, Zayne Picton, Alexia Shively, Nevaeh Picton, Joshua Picton, Carter Shively; two great-grandchildren, Lola and Waylon; two sisters, Larue (Joe) Heaton of Kirksville, Missouri, Sharon (Kevin) Blasi of Bloomfield; three brothers, Tom (Judy) Howk, Dick Howk, Harry (Brenda) Howk all of Bloomfield; four sisters-in-law, Rhonda Shively, Pat Howk, Sheila (Gary) Rudd, all of Bloomfield, Julie Rice of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved daughter, Mindi Marie Shively; two brothers, Ben Howk, Jackie Howk; three sisters, Linda Blasi, Betty Ames, Sandy Luko; brother-in-law, Gale Johnson; niece, Jeanette Johnson; and mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Hazel Shively. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will be held at the Wagler Funeral Home with burial at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Pastor Charles Courtney will officiate. A rolling visitation without the presence of the family will be held from 2-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Wagler Funeral Home. Visitation will be limited to ten people within the funeral home at one time. Memorials have been established to the Open Bible Church in Bloomfield and Hospice serving Davis and Wapello Counties.
