Description	:	Victor Herbert Fincham was born Sept. 23, 1897 east of Blue Rapids, Marshall County, KS, son of William Jr. and Edith Talbot Fincham. He spent most of his boyhood on a farm near Home City, Ks. He married Mabel Nelms June 16, 1920 in Winifred, Marshall County, KS. To this union were 3 children; Darlene Kay who died in infancy, Victor L.Fincham and Bonnie Fincham Monroe. Read More	Victor Herbert Fincham was born Sept. 23, 1897 east of Blue Rapids, Marshall County, KS, son of William Jr. and Edith Talbot Fincham. He spent most of his boyhood on a farm near Home City, Ks. He married Mabel Nelms June 16, 1920 in Winifred, Marshall County, KS. To this union were 3 children; Darlene Kay who died in infancy, Victor L.Fincham and Bonnie Fincham Monroe. For several years, he ran the road maintainer on Hwy K9 between Blue Rapids and Frankfort, KS. They moved to Wichita about 30 years ago and he worked at Boeing for several years. During the Boeing closure,he ran a small store and filling station in Frankfort, returning to Wichita when Boeing reopened. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Wichita. Victor died Jan. 26, 1973 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS. He was survived by his widow of the home, his daughter and son; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Drinnen, Wichita and Mrs. George Wilson, Frankfort, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; one child; brothers, Clayton Fincham and Ed Fincham; two sisters, Mrs. Morgan Wanklyn and Mrs. Myrtle Estes. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 29th at the mortuary in Wichita with graveside services at Fairview Cemetery, south of Home City, Kansas.
