Clark Mayclin, of Decatur, died suddenly Friday morning at 9 o'clock, in Hot Springs, Ark., where he was vacationing. He had been sick less than a day. Read More	Local Man's Father Is Taken By Death Victor L. Mayclin, 70, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, father of J. Clark Mayclin, of Decatur, died suddenly Friday morning at 9 o'clock, in Hot Springs, Ark., where he was vacationing. He had been sick less than a day. Mr. Mayclin and an uncle had left on an all-winter trip to Hot Springs, Ark., Tex. And Mexico. He took sick suddenly early Thursday morning, and was taken to the hospital and placed in an oxygen tent. The exact cause, whether it was bulbar pneumonia or a cerebral hemorrhage, is not yet known. V. L. Mayclin was born July 2, 1890 at Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Mayclin. He was married in 1915 to Olive Twanley, who survives. The retired sales manager of the Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric Company, he was an active member of the Masons and the Kiwanis Lodge. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include the wife, three children, Clark, of Decatur, Miss Joyce Mayclin, of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. J.J. Craig, of Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Harry of Plankinton, S. Dak., and Lee, of Los Angeles, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Jean Rees, of Minneapolis, Minn., and eight grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Mayclin will leave today, with Miss Joyce Mayclin of Washington, D.C., to attend the funeral services, which will probably be held Monday in Alexandria, S,D., the family home.
