Description	:	Victor was the son of Fred and Ida (Doescher) Feyerherm. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point. Vic made Yakima his home in the early 1930's and worked at various jobs until entering the U.S.Army. He served during World War II in the Signal Corps in Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, and Australia. After four years, he was honorably discharged at the rank of captain and returned to Yakima. Read More	Victor was the son of Fred and Ida (Doescher) Feyerherm. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point. Vic made Yakima his home in the early 1930's and worked at various jobs until entering the U.S.Army. He served during World War II in the Signal Corps in Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, and Australia. After four years, he was honorably discharged at the rank of captain and returned to Yakima. Vic was employed as a bookkeeper at several fruit warehouses and retired as office manager of Sundquist Fruit Company after 25 years. Vic and his wife, Catherine(Peg) loved to travel and made several trips to the British Isles, Australia, and the Orient. He was a proud and longtime member of the Optimist Club and the Dale Carnegie Speech Organization. Vic and Peg made several trips to Chicago to participate in speech competitions. He was also a member of Westpark United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Catherine(Nagie)Feyerherm on August 10, 1999; one sister, Ella Zobel; and brothers, Earl, Harvey, and Leo Feyerherm. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Hogan, two grandsons and several great-grandchildren all of Australia; sister, Loraine Toebben and brother, Arlin Feyerherm; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Mary Nagie and their sons, Tom. Sam, and John. "We loved him, he loved us and we will miss this kind, gentle, and good man."
