Description	:	Victor Roy Talbott peacefully went to his home in heaven, Monday, Nov. 6, 2017. He was born March 1, 1923, to Roy and Vera (Dolph) Talbott. Vic was a lifelong resident of Salkum, Wash., where he and his wife, Mary Lee (Stiltner) of 55 years, raised two children, Brian and Elaine. Vic was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was stationed in Japan, as a part of the patrol squadron 892, where his main duties were flying reconnaissance missions. Read More	Victor Roy Talbott peacefully went to his home in heaven, Monday, Nov. 6, 2017. He was born March 1, 1923, to Roy and Vera (Dolph) Talbott. Vic was a lifelong resident of Salkum, Wash., where he and his wife, Mary Lee (Stiltner) of 55 years, raised two children, Brian and Elaine. Vic was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was stationed in Japan, as a part of the patrol squadron 892, where his main duties were flying reconnaissance missions. Vic returned home from active duty after the death of his father, Roy in 1951, to help run the family business in Salkum. He worked at Talbotts Store in Salkum and served as the Salkum Postmaster for 35 years. Vic was also one of the original volunteer fire fighters of Salkum Fire District 8. He was a man of strong faith and a member of the Mossyrock Assembly of God for over 60 years. Vic was very involved in the church and was still attending services and fellowship gatherings up until his passing. A humble man that lived an amazing life, Vic was one of a kind. He grew up to serve his county, community and serve his Lord. Very much a gentleman, a clever wit, gentle spirit and kind heart. Vic was highly admired and respected by everyone. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee (Stiltner) Talbott in 2005; and second wife, Genevieve McMahan in 2007. Vic is survived by his children, Brian Talbott of Salkum and Elaine Talbott of Centralia; grandchildren, Roy Talbott and Tierre (Talbott) Reilly; and great-granddaughter, Stella Reid.
