Read More	Victor Torasso - Clinton Jan. 14, 1929 - June 2, 2015 Victor Torasso, 86, of Clinton, died at 9:03 a.m. June 2, 2015, at Nottingham Rehabilitation and Health in Olathe, Kan. Born Jan. 14, 1929, in Blanford, he was the son of Mary Ann Costa, and was raised by Felice and Lodovica Torasso. He was a retired executive of Arco Metals. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Vic was a man who worked very hard to provide for his family. He loved his career with the aluminum business and was very proud of all his accomplishments that he worked hard to achieve, especially the plant he and several others built in Logan, Ky. Not only was he so very proud of his family, he had a passion for working on and owning muscle cars. He was a great husband, father, papaw, friend and leader. He will be greatly missed by all. His wife, Clarice Torasso, whom he married Sept. 27, 1952, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father. Survivors include a daughter, Fran Hile and her husband, Dave; a son, Victor Torasso and his wife, Mary; grandchildren, David Hile, Brittany Hile and Jason Torasso; great-grandchildren, Trent Torasso and Max Torasso; step-grandchildren, Brandon Parsons and Tim Parsons; and step-great-grandchildren, Maria Kangas and Genevieve and Gabriel Parsons. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Giovanini Funeral Home with Rev. Father Varghese Malikkal officiating and special prayers to be read by Jim Elsberry and David Hile. Burial will be in Helt's Prairie Cemetery in Hillsdale. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
