Vida's mother was Elizabeth Amann born about 1874 in Kentucky. No further information has been found on Elizabeth Amann after Vida's birth record was recorded in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Vida, age 5 was living with her grandparents, Archibald D. and Ione McGill on the 1900 Courtland, Panola County, Mississippi Census. Vida, age 16, was listed on the 1910 Frankstown, Blair, Pennsylvania Census in the household of Lawrence's second wife, Gertrude Alice Shipman's parents, Robert W. Shipman and Elizabeth J. Shipman. Vida, age 25, was shown as a widow in the household of her father, Lawrence B. McGill and his second wife, Gertrude Alice Shipman McGill on the 1920 Waldo, Alachua, Florida Census. Also, listed in the household, is a son of Vida Ione McGill Keller, Frederick E. Keller, Jr. age 6/12 years old, born in Florida. Vida was married to Frederick Engle Keller, Sr. 6 June 1918 in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was the Pastor of the St. Paul's Reformed Church at the time of his death. Frederick E. Keller, age 12, was born February 1888 in Pennsylvania, as were his parents per the 1900 Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania Census. Frederick was in the household of a Frederick Engel and listed as his nephew. Frederick's World War I Draft Registration card shows his name as Frederick Engle Keller, born 2 February 1888 in Pennsylvania. His address was 142 S. Quinn, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. His occupation was shown as a student at the Eastern Theological College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was single, medium build and height, grey eyes and black hair. The document signed 5 June 1917. Rev. Frederick Engle Keller, Sr. died, 11 December 1918 at the St. Mary's Hospital of influneza in Emporia Lyon, Kansas. He is buried in the Lancaster Cemetery at 205 E. He was born 26 June 1870 in Providence, Bradford, Florida and died 8 November 1952 in Gainesville, Alachua, Florida. Children of Vida and Aaron Tison: 1. Lawrence McGill Tison born 10 January 1922 in Earlton, Alachua, Florida. 2. Doris Tison, born 20 October 1923 in Earlton, Alachua, Florida, died 26 September 2003 in Gainesville, Alachua, Florida. An interesting story is told by an unknown descendant. About 1930 a gentlemen knocked on their door looking for Vida. The story goes, her mother gave her at that time a big sum of money. She doesn't know if Elizabeth Amann had died or just why she received the money. Vida and Aaron, at that time, had no running water or indoor plumbing. Then after she got the money they were able to get running water and indoor plumbing. She said they, also, bought a new Chrysler. Vida's son by her first husband, Frederick Engele Keller, Sr. was Frederick Engele Keller, Jr. born 26 July 1919, in Gainesville, Alachua, Florida and died 18 December 1932, at age thirteen (13) in Alachua County, Florida. The cause of his death was bronchitis pneumonia. Vida Ione Tison, died 28 May 1977 in the Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, Alachua, Florida. She is buried in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Waldo, Alachua, Florida. Aaron Dell Tison and Frederick Engele Keller, Jr. are, also, buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
