Description	:	CENTRAL CITY — Vina Isabell Clancy, 96, of Central City died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at Central City Care Center. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Heartland Evangelical Free Church in Central City, with the Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus at 11 a.m. Monday. Solt-Wagner Funeral home ia in charge of the arrangements. Vina was born on May 16, 1920, to Ernest and Sadie (Robinson) Figard in Seward. She grew up and lived in Silver Creek and Columbus until her father died in 1936. She attended and graduated from school in Columbus in 1938. She married Kenneth Lawrence Clancy on Oct. 9, 1938, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple moved to Denver, then to California during the war. They then moved back to Columbus in 1954. She retired from working in electronics in 1973 and moved to Central City in 1999. Kenneth died in 1971. Vina was a member of the Heartland Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed leading people to the Lord, especially children. She also enjoyed sewing. She is survived by a daughter, Lynne (Arden) Bokelman of Central City, and four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother Leon Figard; and her stepfather, Walter Kelley.
