Description	:	Vincent (Benny) Campbell Armstrong passed away peacefully at age 98, on June 16, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was born February 8, 1913, in rural Dixon County, Nebraska. Following graduation from Ponca High School in 1930, Benny was involved in farming in Nebraska and Iowa. Later he was employed by Speas Vinegar Company in Kansas City working at their vinegar production plants across the country. Read More	Vincent (Benny) Campbell Armstrong passed away peacefully at age 98, on June 16, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was born February 8, 1913, in rural Dixon County, Nebraska. Following graduation from Ponca High School in 1930, Benny was involved in farming in Nebraska and Iowa. Later he was employed by Speas Vinegar Company in Kansas City working at their vinegar production plants across the country. For a number of years, while working for Speas, he was located in Washington State. After retiring from Speas, he resided in Arlington, Texas, eventually moving to a care center there. He later moved to Arkansas. Benny was an avid golfer. In 2005 he was featured in a publication by the Arlington Senior Men's Golf Association describing a round he played with four pars and no double bogeys. It further stated "he can't drive a car anymore, but boy, can he drive a golf ball!" Over his lifetime, Benny made many friends. His extensive family was important to him. He was a student of the Bible and felt a close relationship with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, George G. and Edna M. (Campbell) Armstrong; brothers, Gerald, Carrol, Wayne, and sister Marie (Armstrong) Dickey; sisters-in-law, Frances (Kneifl) Armstrong, Marguerite (Thomas) Armstrong, Mona (LaCroix) Armstrong, Janie (Larson) Armstrong; and brother-in-law, Samuel Dickey.
