After a small family service at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, she will be taken home to Scottsbluff, NE; where a second service will be held at Jolliffe Funeral Home with a burial at Crawford Cemetery, Crawford, NE. She is survived by one sister, Audrey Tolar, Bella Vista, AR; one brother, Clinton (Sara) Webb, Sneads, FL; four children, Judith (LaDon) Elmore, Gordon, AL; Keith Hoagland, Sidney, NE; Kelly (Christine) Hoagland, Denver, CO; Jeannie (Terry) Staman, Crawford, NE; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. ∼Vinie was born July 20, 1929, in Birmingham, Ala., to Hosie Thomas and Blanchie Lavada (Lockart) Webb. She received her education in Columbus, Ga. She married Howard Hoagland on May 17, 1947, in Fort Benning, Ga., and to this union four children were born. The family moved to Marsland, Neb., and worked on a ranch until they moved to Bayard in 1988 until Howard's death in 2007, when Vinie moved to Wesley Manor in Dothan to be closer to her family. Vinie loved her family and would be proud to know that all of her grandchildren will be honored as honorary casket bearers at her funeral. Survivors include sons Keith Hoagland of Potter, Kelly (Christine) Hoagland of Denver; daughters Judith (LaDon) Elmore of Gordon, Ala., Jeannie (Terry) Staman of Crawford; brother Clinton (Sara) Webb of Sneeds, Fla.; sister Audrey Tolar of Bentonville, Ark.; sister-in-law Mary Alice Webb of Dothan; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Her parents, husband Howard, brother Carlos Webb of Dothan, sisters Lucille Bishop of Pensacola, Fla., and Ludine Guy of Dothan preceded her in death.
