Fifth, died at her home today at 2 a.m. She was born Feb. 22, 1874, near Albia, the daughter of John and Nancy Clouse. Her marriage to Virgil Caldwell took place in 1894. He died in 1936. She was a resident of Ottumwa the past 70 years. She was a member of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Waneta Reed, Mrs. Gerald Martin and Mrs. Lloyd Waltman of Ottumwa; one son, Merle Caldwell of Renton, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, four sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ottumwa Baptist Temple with Rev. A. D. Pringle, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Traul Funeral Home to the church at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
