Schmidt officiating. Music was furnished by Jerry Musser who sang “Beyond the Sunset” and "Abide With Me” accompanied by Mrs. Garold Brinkmeyer, organist. Bartlett was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on April 3, 1914 and died October 21 at University hospital in Iowa City. On February 14, 1945 she was married to Ellsworth S. Kinkaid at Hiawatha, Kansas. A member of the Rebekah lodge and Iowa City Encampment she had been a resident of the community for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Edythe at home and Mrs. Ted Helm of Iowa City; one sister, Mrs. Elmer McCutchan of Evansville, Indiana; four brothers, Ed Poulson and William Poulson of Council Bluffs, Mr. Alfred Poulson of Evansville, Indiana and Oscar Poulson of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Pallbearers for the service were G. B. Brinkmeyer, R. D. Westfall, Alfred Lennabaugh, Frank Krueger, Carl Shingledecker and Albert Lenz. Mrs. R. D. Westfall, Mrs. Emora Attig, Mrs. Albert Lenz and Mrs. Alfred Lennabaugh were in charge of the flowers. Rebekah services were held at the graveside. Sorden and Adams was in charge of funeral arrangements with interment in the Lone Tree cemetery.
