Read More	Source: Victor Index 7/3/1902 VIOLA EVALENA HENRY Daughter of Marshal and Florida Cary, was born March 7, 1880. When three years old she was left alone with her father to struggle through the battles and hardships of life which she done bravely. February 16, 1896, she was married to Walter O. Henry, who was a faithful and loving husband. To them two daughters were born, Elsa May and Carrie Pearl. She was a devoted wife and a christian loving mother always trying to please and to do right. After about three years of suffering with dreaded consumption, she answered the Saviour's voice and she beckoning of angels hands and left us to mourn for her, June 25, 1902, at her home near Blairstown. It seemed just as she said, that all she was waiting for was to be baptized. this occurred an hour before her death and while Rev. Kight sang a verse of "Jesus lover of my soul" her voice was heard nearly as strong as his and while they repeated the Lords prayer her voice was heard with the rest. Thus we know she was ready and waiting the Masters call. Before this she could hardly speak to those loved ones around her bed side. Her last words were, "I am sorry I feel so, while you are all here , for I want to visit with you." She leaves to mourn her loss, a loving husband, two daughters, a father, three half-sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Her brothers are Dolphus Carey of Neosha Falls, KS., Joseph Carey of Alliance, NE., and Charles Carey of Ladora, and her sisters are Mrs. Sarah A. Dairymple of Longford, KS., Mrs. Carrie Hart of Victor; and Mrs. Elvia Morse, whose residence is unknown to us. AS a sister she was always ready and willing to do all she could to help those around her. It seems and is very sad when one has left us at such an early age. It is like the sun rising in the morning and at noon going behind dark clouds thus making the remainder of the day dark and lonely. So it is when a dear one leaves us, we are left sand and lonely. The funeral services were held at Ladora, in the M. E. church, Friday, June 27th, conducted by Rev. Kight assisted by Rev.
