Description	:	NORFOLK - Services for Viola E. Friedrich, 97, of Norfolk will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Walter Nolte will officiate. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday at the church under direction of Howser-Fillmer Mortuary. She died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Golden Living Center. She was baptized at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Norfolk. She attended school at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Norfolk. She married Roy H. Johnson, and they moved to Denver, Colo. Viola moved back to Norfolk and worked at Pilleys, Ocoma Foods and Hesteds. She married Clarence Friedrich Jan. 20, 1939, at Wayne. They farmed north of Norfolk for a few years, then moved to Amherst, Colo., for a year, and then they moved to Torrance, Calif. In 1961, they moved back to Norfolk. Clarence died Sept. 28, 1986. She is survived by her daughter Erleen D. Johnson of Norfolk, nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twins, three sisters and four brothers.
