Noel on May 27, 1948, in Abilene, and they made their home in Abilene. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1993.She married Tom Ware in 1995 in Abilene. They also made their home in Abilene. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Abilene Eagles Club, Red Hat ladies, American Quarter Horse Association, the Daughters of the American Revolution and a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary.Survivors include her husband, Tom, of the home; two sons, Raymond Noel, Jr., of Mt. Vernon, Ark. and David Noel of Abilene; one daughter, Nancy Boyd of Enterprise; one sister, Patricia Clay Meierhenry of Cheyenne, Wyo., five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives.She also was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Rudy.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 N.W. Third, Abilene. The Rev. Jim Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Abilene Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Friends may call until time of service.Contributions may be made to a memorial to be decided at a later time and left at the funeral home.
