The remains reached South Whitley Monday afternoon, and the funeral will be conducted from the Dunkard church at Tunker Tuesday, at 10:00 o'clock a.m., the interment to be in the Eberhard Cemetery. Rev. Henry Ness will officiate. It is supposed that the death of Mrs. Arnett was due to gall stones. She and her husband went to Canada a little over a year ago and her death is deeply lamented by many relatives and acquaintances. Viola Kaufman was born January 15, 1874, and spent practically her whole life in Cleveland Township and was 38 years, 4 months, and 21 days of age. She leaves one brother, Andy Kaufman, at Leavertown, Michigan, and a half brother, Chas Snyder, of Sidney, Ohio, and two half sisters. She was a member of the Dunkard church and was esteemed and respected by a large circle of friends. Noted by Chas Rockwood: This obituary does not mention the two young daughters that also survive.
