Born Nov. 6, 1910, in Castalia, she was the daughter of James and Cora Allen Harver. She married Otis Dean Christofferson Aug. 18, 1927, in Decorah. He died Oct. 3, 1975. She was employed as a nurse's aide for the Davis County Hospital, Bloomfield, retiring in 1982 with 26 years of service. She was a member of the Drakesville United Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons, Duane Christofferson, Dubuque, Donald Christofferson, Martinsville, Ind., Roger Christofferson, Des Moines, and Gerald Christofferson, Johnston; four daughters, Colleen Saner and Wanda Whistler, both of Ottumwa, Kathleen McElderry, Burlington, and Donna Hankins, Altoona; 23 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
