She was united in marriage to Paul Sheets in 1937, he preceded her in death in 1959. She was co-owner of Sheets Grocery Store working in the store for 28 years. Violet was united in marriage to Richard Knaak in Hedrick, Iowa on April 9, 1965. Mrs. Knaak is survived by her husband Richard of Martinsburg, a grandson, Chris Miller of Corinth, Texas, two great-grandsons, Ryan and Curtis Miller also of Corinth, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.... Violet graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1935. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, quilting, sewing, traveling gardening and her flowers.
